Helen J. Ayers

Helen M. Ayers. 92, Lebanon, passed away on February 9, 2018 in Spang Crest Manor. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Ayers. She was born in Lebanon on November 26, 1925 a daughter of the late Harry G. and Anna M. Yingst McGee. She had been employed as a secretary at the Lebanon Bethlehem Steel and later worked as a dietician for Cedar haven and the former Lebanon Sanitorium. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and was an avid bowler in many local leagues. She was also a former State Bowling champion. She is survived by daughters: Susan wife of Dale Blauch, Cornwall; Patricia wife of Daniel Weaver, Richland; grandchildren: Thomas and wife Dawn Blauch, Palmyra; Jeffrey and wife Kate Blauch, Palmyra; Joshua and wife Erica Weaver, Richland; Katie wife of Richard Roof, Lebanon; great-grandchildren: Christopher Blauch, Jacob Blauch, Emily Weaver, Travis Weaver, Leeann Roof. She was the last of her immediate family. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am. In the Rohland Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a viewing will be held from 10:00 am. until the time of service. Interment will be made in the National Cemetery at Ft. Indiantown Gap.
