Earl F. Bensinger Jr.

Born in Reading PA, October 8, 1961, he was the son of Earl F. Bensinger Sr., who passed in 1996, and Mary Eileen (Reilly) Bensinger, a current resident of Cornwall, PA.

Young Earl was described by loved ones as a firecracker, with energy to burn. As an adult, he found his calling at PennState Hershey Medical Center, where he gave almost 33 years

of absolute love and devotion to his positions within the Sterile Processing Department. Earl worked his way to Supervisor, and eventually became the Surgery OR Liaison. He gave all and everything to his job, giving back and helping others along the way.

Coworkers shared stories of Earl's dedication to work, but also his wicked sense of humor and love of pulling pranks, (once shrink wrapping a coworker's car), all to make others smile.

In addition to his Wife and Mother, Earl is survived by his Stepdaughter Melissa Thomas, wife of Billy Thomas of Hershey, and Stepdaughter Malinda Rivera of Palmyra,

his Step Granddaughter Katrina Cherry of Arizona, his step Great Grandson Zavier Cherry and step Great Granddaughter Kamara Cherry of Arizona,

his brother Harry Bensinger Sr of Grantville, his sister Karen Summerville, wife of Jimm Summerville, of Sevierville TN, his nephew and friend/brother Michael Summerville

of Ft Worth , TX, his niece Gina Heidle of GA, and nephew Harry Bensinger Jr of VA.

Earl was also beloved by his many surviving cousins and friends, including his "work family" at PennState Hershey Medical Center.

Per Earl's Wishes, no services will be held.
