Lebanon, PA.
Went to be with the Lord, on Monday, January 31, 2011. She was a resident of Cedar Haven.
Alice White (Huerbin) the youngest of
eight brothers and sisters. Born in Pittsburgh she
moved to Lebanon to raise her family in the 1960’s.
Alice worked in many of the factories in Lebanon,
retiring from Murray’s Steaks. She came out
of retirement to work for The Luthern Mission
Society giving caring, & guidance to many children.
That was the start of her new career
in child care. Alice went on to guide, watch over,
teach, nurture and love many fine gentlemen
and ladies of today. Alice was always giving
of herself to help any and all charities,
organizations, and people that crossed
her path. Many will remember Alice for
her doll collection, but mostly for her
kind heart, giving ways, sense of humor,
and always ready to lend a hand. Her
wonderful outlook on life and gracious
ways will live on in the memories of all
who knew and loved her. Alice loved her
extensive doll collection as evident throughout
her home. Her other love was needlepoint.
Many a person has been the recipient of
her intricate and festive needlepoint work.
Alice is survived by a sister, Millie
and two brothers, Regis & Gilbert.
