Ronaldo Elmer Ambas Cordova

Ronaldo Elmer Ambas Cordova passed away at the all too early age of 48 on June 6th 2024 in Leander Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Ronaldo affectionately known as Ron, was born to his loving parents Linda Ambas Cordova and Domingo Cordova and his siblings Carla Nabos and Kenneth Cordova on August 29th 1975 in Calooncan City, Philippines.

Ron’s dedication to providing for his family started early in his life. Earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of the Philippines Diliman, which propelled him into the great career of Telecommunications. His strong work effort and pure desire to help bring people together, helped drive a career that was going strong for over 25 years.

His family would start to flourish when he met the love of his life Sarah Cordova at a game night in 2002. Starting out as friends, their common interests of food and gaming would kindle their life’s passion for each other, starting to date each other in 2004 and then interlacing their vows with each other in September of 2006. Their love for each other continued to grow and blossom creating 3 amazing and gifted children Johnny, Jamie and Kaitie. Ron’s love for his family is second to none. From finding ways to play and entertain, even after a long day of work and providing for his cherished family.

From friends to family and his children Ron shared his deep passions and creativity. Ron has authored many fan fiction comic stories, some of which have been illustrated. His creativity was also on display as the Game Master in various live role playing games. His multi layered and complex dungeon runs, and expeditions were always very imaginative and a hit with his friends and family.

Through writing, sharing stories, organizing complex missions in never before seen worlds… Ron’s passion, love and creativity was a marvel to witness for his friends and family. Combined with the strength and structure needed to support and grow a family is a rare and well needed combination in this world…

Ron you will be missed by everyone your ever growing reach has touched and will touch long after your light was taken from us…

A memorial service for Ron will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 S Bagdad Road, Leander, Texas 78641. This service will be live streamed at: https://vimeo.com/event/4434999
