Those who were lucky enough to know Joe got to experience his kind and humorous personality. Joe always put his faith in God first. His beliefs were never shaken and he would love to share them with anyone who would listen.
The love he had for his family was noticed and admired by all. He would always be there when it mattered, and always enjoyed family gatherings or trips. He made sure his family never went without. Joe would love to spend time with his grandchildren whether it would be wrestling or quick trips to the store. Joe was one of the few that worked most of his life doing something he loved, truck driving. Oftentimes he spoke of retiring, but when given the opportunity he always chose to continue driving. One thing that Joe loved, like most Texans, were the DALLAS COWBOYS. Joe would enjoy golfing with his family and friends as long as it wasn't too hot or as he would say the "devil wasn't dancing" in the Texas heat.
He is greeted in heaven by his grandmother Lazara Cavazos and his mother, Francisca Cavazos. He was survived by his loving children; Francisca, Kristopher and wife Emily, Kimberly, Joe Jr, and Mason; grandchildren; Alyson, Cambri, Charlee, Anakin and his best friend Atlas; Siblings; George, Frank, Carlos, Rosanna, Ruben, Lorena, and Betty. He also leaves behind aunts, cousins, and several nieces and nephews.
Joe will be desperately missed by all those that he's left behind. Our hearts are forever broken by this unexpected loss. He was one of a kind and to be loved by him was to be truly blessed.
"See ya later alligator." -Joe Elizondo
