Jessica Lynn Carter

Our beloved Jessie went to be with Jesus on June 24, 2024. Jessica Lynn Carter (Jessie) was born June 12, 1982 in Cushing, OK to Debbie and Donald Landers. She married Curtis Carter on May 20, 2006 in Tulsa, OK where they lived until they moved to Texas in 2012. Jessie graduated high school from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, OK and was currently attending ASU for Business Administration. She worked as a Senior Accounting Clerk at Forestar Group in Austin, TX. She enjoyed her job and the ones she worked with. Jessie loved her family and spent as much time with them as she could. Always there for her nieces and nephews when it was their birthday or any special event, she never missed anything with them. Jessie was always willing and ready to go on any trip or concert her sister Amanda talked her in to. Jessie loved her husband Curtis with all her heart. She loved seeing him happy and was always down for what every crazy hobby he was into at the time. No matter what she was always by his side to cheer him on and support him. Jessie will be greatly missed by so many.

Jessie is preceded in death by her mother Debbie Borgerson, father in law Kim Carter, and father Donald Landers.

Jessie is survived by her husband Curtis Carter of Leander, TX., sister Amanda Crutchfield and husband Roy Crutchfield of Alba, TX., sister Tiffany Temple and husband Josh Temple of Chelsea, OK., sister-in-law Tammie Carter of Durango, CO., her nieces and nephews Hailey Crutchfield, Aidin Babb, Addison Crutchfield, Kinse Babb, Braden Crutchfield, Catelynn Temple, Jordan Temple, Tyler Temple and Joshua Temple. Aunt Jane and Uncle Shawn from Catoosa, Ok., Cousins Shawntel Lunn and Quintin Lunn of Catoosa, Ok., Step-dad Blake Borgerson of Chelsea, Ok., mother-in-law Peggy Carter of Tulia, Tx.

Service will be held at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home in Leander, Tx. on Saturday, June 29th. Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm followed by the service at 2 pm. There will be no graveside.
