Christopher is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Christine, their youngest son, Nathan, eldest son, Noah, and daughter-in-love Emmi, as well as his mother, Sandra Roberts and his mother in law, Phyllis Earley, and many more loving family members along with many loyal friends
Christopher and Christine met in Robbinsville, New Jersey, in their early 20’s where they were working as caretakers for autistic adults, and they have been inseparable ever since. They spent 10 years going on adventures, camping, and attending too many concerts to count before finally getting married at the beach in Cape May, New Jersey surrounded by their family and friends. As their love grew, so did their family. In 2002, they had their first born Noah.
Christopher and Christine bought their first house in 2002 in Manalapan, New Jersey. It is there that their love flourished as their house turned into a home. He loved being a father so much that they welcomed their second born Nathan in 2005. Their home was always crazy with 2 boys, but was filled with love and laughter.
In August of 2016 with the help of his best friend Ronnie, Christopher and his family made the move to Leander, Texas, for work and family. They had toured many homes in the area, but ended up choosing the house that best fit their style (according to Christine). In Austin, Texas, he worked as a foreman in the telecommunications industry, and loved his job. He was the first one to the job site every morning. He was known as “Tio Chris” by his younger co-workers as they looked up to him like family.
Christopher was a gentle, warm soul who could be found at home in his recliner watching a movie or a gun show. He could make an amazing brisket, and made sure everyone around him knew it. Him and his smoked meats were the star of every holiday and occasion. His favorite activities included night snacking, golfing, going to the gun range, and searching for tattoo ideas on Google. He was always willing to open his home to another furry family member, as long as that meant he could get permission to spend more money on another tattoo.
Christopher was a devoted father, husband, and friend who was taken too soon. He will be remembered for his luscious hair, easy demeanor, and his love for life and all its opportunity. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever.
A visitation for Christopher will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1200 S. Bagdad, Leander, TX 78641.
