Viva Jean Kilburn

Viva Jean Hughes Kilburn, age 86, of West Point, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at NHC Scott in Lawrenceburg. She was a member of Pea Ridge Church of Christ and a member of the Pea Ridge Extension Homemakers Club. She was a homemaker in her earlier years and retired from Hughes Parker industries after several years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, woodworking, making floral arrangements, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Willard “Chief” Kilburn; Parents, Robert “Bob” Hughes and Mary Weaver Hughes; Son, Ronnie “Six Pack” Kilburn; Great Granddaughter, Baylee Hall; Siblings, Boyd Hughes, Ilan Romer, Ruth Kilburn.

She is survived by her Children, Donie Kilburn, Rex Kilburn (Sandra), Lynn Self, and Wade Kilburn (Lora); Grandchildren, Maria Hill, Rena Lopp, Alicia Martin, Brandon Self, Drew Kilburn, Carrie Smith, Tasha Kilburn, Dustin Kilburn, Colby Kilburn, Mason Kilburn, and A.J. Kilburn; 19 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Brother, T.J. Hughes; Sister, Peggy Smith; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Friday, January 12, 2024 beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will be at Kilburn Cemetery.
