Michael Ray Mashburn

Mr. Michael Ray Mashburn, 61 of Lawrenceburg passed away Monday April 24th, 2017. Michael Ray Mashburn, a loving Father, Grandfather and all around family man. One who truly believed laughter was the best medicine and that true happiness always begins and ends with family. Also, he believed that the best gifts are those of the precious memories that we make together on life’s journey. These gifts never lose their sparkle or wither with time. They will always be with us and will forever hold their place in our hearts. He was a man of many hats, whether it was taking pictures, being a master electrician, a Sheriff Deputy or starting a probation company. He always believed that nothing was out of reach, all things are possible and we should always follow our dreams.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday April 25th, 2017 at 11:00 am at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens with Brother Jeff Young officiating.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Ann Mashburn; Sons, Josh Staggs (Lexi), Michael Mashburn II (April), Joe Mashburn (Nina), Nick Mashburn (Desiree); Daughter, Melissa Curtis (Matt); Brother, Barry Mashburn (Sandy); Sister, Vickie Mangrum, and Four Grandchildren.

Interment will be at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations for medical and funeral expenses. Donations can be made at Capital Bank – Joe Mashburn for Mike Mashburn.
