Maudie Marie Skinner

Maudie Marie Skinner, age 78, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 at her home in Lawrenceburg. Maudie was born on December 13th, 1945 to the late Arzo Stafford and Lucy Viola Tease. She last worked for God’s Storehouse in Lawrenceburg. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, tending to her pets, and spending time with her loving family and friends. She attended First Presbyterian Church in Lawrenceburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Skinner; brothers, Andrew Stafford, William Stafford ;sisters, Margaret Barnett, Martha Crews, Elois Bunt.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Trapp; nieces, Janet Trapp, Lee Donna Trapp, Melisa Gobble (Terry), and Lucinda Smith; nephews, Luke Tease (Teresa), Richard Tease (Joyce), Rusty Trapp (Amy), and Todd Trapp (Donna); several additional nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; beloved canine companion, JoJo.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Brother Tim Cunningham will be officiating.

Interment will be held at Bumpas Cemetery.
