Jennifer Louise Toungett

Jennifer Louise Toungett, age 72, of Summertown, TN, passed away on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 at her residence in Summertown. She was born on May 9th, 1952 to the late Robert L. Staggs and Gladys Louise Staggs. She was a retired seamstress who retired from South Eastern Shirt. In her spare time, she loved to garden, spending time with her canine companions, Chigger and Crickett, watching tv, and spending time with her loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Marshall Staggs; Sister, Geraldine Staggs.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Bobby Toungett; daughters, Lucy Henson (Jeremy), Mallory Wright (Zack), Starr Taylor (Brad), and Trina Ford (Rodney); siblings, Robbie Belew (Pete), Dewey Staggs, Catherine Kendrick (Robert), James “Jim” Staggs, Sheila Carroll, John Staggs (Marquetta), David Staggs (Patty), Joseph “Joe” Staggs, and Sherry Lynn Staggs; grandchildren, Alex, Hayden, Rowan, and Troy; great granddaughter, Bridget; special friends, Kerrigan Jenson, Linda Russell, Laura Attkisson, and Marlene French.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, June 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Brother Terry Chapman will be officiating.

Interment will follow at Old Ethridge Cemetery.
