James David Murley Jr., age 68, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at his home in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was born on October 23, 1955 in Jackson, TN and was raised in the Baptist faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy before receiving a Bachelors Degree in communications from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and watching sports, with a particular liking toward NASCAR and Baseball.
He was preceded in death by his Father, James David Murley Sr.; Brother, Ronald Joseph Murley.
He is survived by his Mother, Jean Murley; Daughter, Jennifer Leigh Murley; Sons, Michael Shannon Murley and David Andrew Murley; Sisters, Janet Derby (Marvin) and Sharon Heard (Joel); Several Nieces and Nephews.
The family would like to express sincere appreciation to Caris Hospice for the exceptional care and service provided to them in this difficult time and say a special thank you to Nurses, Tonya and Alexis.
