Billy Dan Fowler

Billy Dan Fowler, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Friday, July 26th, 2024 at NHC Brink in Lawrenceburg. He was born on August 17th, 1940 in Waynesboro, TN. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, reading old western novels, collecting and trading knives, tending to his pets, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Fowler; mother, Gustova Ann Carnell; brothers, Frank Carnell and Joe Carnell; sisters, Fanny Lou Martin and Betty Ann DeWeese; niece, Diana Barnett; nephew, Willie Hargett; beloved canine companion, Thunder.

He is survived by his daughter, Wanda Barnes; grandchild, Samantha Johnson (Tim); great-grandchildren, Lily Prentice, Rylee Johnson, and Owen Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The memorial service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24th, 2024 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Brother Ed Luna will be officiating.

Inurnment will be held at Bumpas Cemetery following the service.
