CPO WILLIAM CLARK JR. U.S. Navy, Retired William H. Clark Jr., 70, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 28, 2011. He was born May 26, 1941, in Baltimore, and was a 30-year resident of Nevada. He retired from the U.S. Navy, serving two tours in the Vietnam War and attaining the rank of chief petty officer. He was a graduate of Calvert Hall College in Baltimore, and of UNLV with a bachelor's degree in computer science. He was a longtime active member of the Disabled Veterans of Nevada and longtime Mason at Daylight 44 Lodge and St. Johns Lodge in Pioche. He is survived by his wife, Norma Clark; daughter, Dianna of San Diego; sons, Glenn of Pahrump, Scott of London, England, and Brian of Stuttgart, Germany; grandsons, Randy and Brandon of San Diego, Daniel, Michael, Viktor and David of Germany; great-grandson from Daniel; and great-granddaughter from Viktor. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be at noon Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. in Boulder City.
