Vernolia Jean Elliott-Ward

Vickie; as we affectionately called her was born to the late Mr. Joshua Elliott Sr. and Mrs. Flossie Elliot on November 30th 1947 in Tallulah, Louisiana. Vickie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized at an early age; she is also a member of Mountaintop Faith Ministries where she spent her time fellowship, praying and commentating with the Lord Jesus Christ. Vickie was one of nine siblings.

Vickie received a degree in Business Administration from Bryant and Stratton Business School in New York State. Vicki loved to crochet, sew and was an avid reader. Her favorite book was the Bible where she spent hours praying for her family and love ones. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and one of her best friends Conan her beloved Maltese poodle.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister Vera Talley and brothers Joshua Jr., Kenneth, Larry, and Rodney Elliott. She left behind her loving husband of 56 years Mr. Leo Ward Jr. Sister: Yvonne Mason(Willie) Brothers: Earnest Elliott (Frenda) and Derrick Elliott Children: Her One and Only son, Andre Ward (Loretta), Lisa Martin and Willeta Ward. She also left behind her grandchildren Giovante Lewis and Raquel Calhoun and a host of nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
