Tracy Ann (Gee) Anderson was born in Alexandria, Louisiana August 5, 1960 and died of a sudden, irreversible cardiac arrest on October 20, 2022 at the age of 62. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Daniel Anderson and 2 daughters, Kelly and Rebecca Anderson and a sister Theresa Gee-Dann. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Marguerite (Roberge) Gee and James Gee.
Tracy lived in Massachusetts as a child and moved with her family to the Las Vegas Area in 1974. She graduated from Rancho High School in 1978 with letters in basketball, softball and volleyball. She went on to secretarial school and became a legal secretary and eventually obtained an associate’s degree in accounting from Clark County Community College. She worked as an office manager for an electrical construction company before she retired to become a full time mother and homemaker.
Tracy was passionate about family and friends and spent most of her time supporting them. She spent her leisure time split between sports and reading. Tracy was an avid Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Celtics fan and then life got complicated. Vegas got the Knights and the Raiders.
After marrying her husband, she accompanied him in discovering the southwestern outdoors, something she had not done much up to that time. She enjoyed fishing and going out camping and the occasional hunting trip. She enjoyed history of the country and we went to see Native American archeological areas and Civil War battlefields and museums. National parks were some of her favorite trips.
She is probably stirring up a family barbecue where she is now as that seemed to be her thing when anyone showed up that had been separated for a while.
A visitation for Tracy will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM and Burial at 2:00 PM. A reception will follow. All services will be at Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
