He was known the be the tallest guy at work but not the tallest deadhead, that spot went to Bill Walton. He was born in Valdez, Alaska and the son of a preacher man, Dennis Romaine Walker, Sr. and a loving mother Carol Bull Walker.
Some of Tim's most notable achievements: A selfie with Bill Walton, played in the Santa Fe Opera, played piano, guitar and the cow bell, believed he had the voice of a rock star, always helped a stranger in need, saved as many poodles as he could, and upon traveling, discovered strange little towns that he would rename based on a lyric from the Grateful Dead. Although none became official town names, he always hoped one day they would.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Evelyn, his beautiful sister, Rebecca (Cynthia Black), his brother Dennis (Robin Severns), his nieces Ashley McMath, Chelsea McMath, Irene Walker, and his nephew Nathanial Walker.
No flowers please, instead he would hope that you would provide a miracle or unexpected act of kindness for some unfortunate soul in his name.
His ashes will be spread along side his mother in the mountains of New Mexico. A celebration of life will be held in Las Vegas to honor his life.
“Fare you well, fare you well
I love you more than words can tell
Listen to the river sing sweet songs
To rock my soul”
