Thomas F. Hannon, 70, business owner, marketing and sales executive, passed away April 3, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born Oct 18, 1943 in Manhattan, New York. At age 7, he moved with parents and three siblings to New Jersey. He played Varsity football at Dumont High School, and went on to graduate from Fordam University with a B.S. in Marketing Management. He furthered his studies, earning his MBA in International Marketing and Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Throughout his working Career, Tom enjoyed a high level of success within the confectionery/snack and food industries over his 40 year career. Tom has a broad range of experience and expertise working with private, public and start-up companies on both a domestic and international basis. He was currently CEO of Marketeers Group, Inc., a Nevada based company. He created the unique BITE-SIZE snack concept and formed the first company manufacturing BITE-SIZE cookies. In addition to his successful career, Tom continued to share ideas and personal experiences in his role as an Associate Marketing professor at UNLV from 2005-2008. Tom was a loving husband, father, and friend. He was a fanatic Yankee and Giant fan, whom enjoyed reading, playing Bingo with his wife, and known to watch Fox News 24/7. Tom was preceded in death by his parents James & Anne Hannon; brother James; and sister, Anne. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Mary Ann; daughters, Megan Lynn and Kerri Ann; sister, Maureen; two grandchildren Mark and Kendra; and five loving, Lhasa Apso: Kelly, Murphy, Mr. O’Brien, Katie, and Clancy.
