Tamera Kathlene Ramirez, age 58, of North Las Vegas, passed away peacefully in her home after a heroic battle on November 18, 2017. She was born on January 27, 1959 in Bakersfield, California to Paul and Mary Valdez. She attended and graduated from Highland High School in 1977 and worked for numerous banks and Wall Street T-Shirt Embroidery. She lived in Bakersfield until moving to Las Vegas in 2001 to be with the love of her life, Arthur. She worked as a receptionist with law offices until she decided to become a domestic engineer. Tami spent most of her time doing what she liked most: cooking, baking and traveling the world with her husband. She was always so proud of her many holiday home decorations. Tami was somewhat of a free spirit and such a good hearted person; she will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She could always light up the room with her contagious laughter. Tami was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Kathlene Valdez. Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Arthur (Art); daughter: Veronica (Richard) Sanchez, son Kelly Ray Artiaga; stepsons Eric A. (girlfriend Maritza), Christopher M. (Karrina) and Cameron P. (girlfriend Alexandra) Ramirez; father Paul Valdez; brother Perry (Jayne) Valdez, and sister: Serena (Reuben) Artiaga. She is also survived by and loved all her numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and their families. Tami also wanted to acknowledge all the kids’ past wives and girlfriends. She loved you ALL dearly. She was also a fantastic grandmother to all our many combined grandchildren. Tami, you will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, we love you. A celebration of Tami’s life will begin at 1pm on December 4, 2017 at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas.
