Susanne was the daughter of the late Robert and Catherine John. Sue was born and raised in Salisbury, MD.
She married Glen Culver of Salisbury, MD in 1975. They later had two boys, Christopher and Jonathan. Sue was active in her faith and attended St Francis de Sales in Salisbury. They loved the water and being near family but eventually moved to Germantown, MD in 1991. Sue worked for Hallmark for many years and later worked for an adoption agency, which she really enjoyed. While in Germantown she attended church services at Mother Seton Parish. She absolutely loved being part of the Bell Choir and Sisters of Sodality while attending church there.
The family gained additional life-long friends while in Germantown. After both sons moved to Las Vegas, NV, Sue and Glen made the long journey west in 2008. Shortly after moving to Las Vegas, Sue became a grandmother. She loved spoiling her grandkids; she was a grandmother to 6! She loved crocheting and needlepoint projects. She developed a love for collectible dolls from her mother. She really loved Christmas and collected several beautiful Santa Claus figures that she would display all year. She and Glen loved the Philadelphia Eagles and really enjoyed watching football together.
She is survived by her husband, Glen H. Culver of Las Vegas, her sister Wendy Giannini, her brother Edward Baum, her sister-in-law Vivian John, her brother-in-laws Richard and Robert Culver (Yvette) of Salisbury Maryland and her two sons, Christopher Culver (Melissa) and Jonathan Culver (Anna) of Las Vegas along with her six grandchildren, Bryce, Jackson, Isabella, Kyleeanne, Abigail and Trevor Culver and many caring nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert John and Catherine John Haggerty, her brother Robert John and her in laws, Clyde Richard and Vella Jean Culver.
Services for Susanne Culver will be held at Palm Mortuary and Cemetery 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131 on February 18, 2022 at 9:00am.
