Sue Grace Boyd

Sue (Burns) Boyd passed away on February 11th, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born July 30th, 1935 in Twin Lakes, Iowa to Don and Bea Burns. She married Terry Elvin "Jake" Boyd on September 30th, 1956.

She attended schools in Rockwell City, Iowa and Long Beach, California during her "young years." Her parents settled in Fullerton, California before she entered 8th grade. She attended Wilshire Junior High, graduated from Fullerton High School in 1953 and Fullerton Junior College in 1955.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Bea Burns, her husband Terry Elvin "Jake" Boyd, her son Larry Boyd and infant son Andrew Boyd.

She is survived by her son Gary Boyd, daughter-in-law Vicki Boyd and her grandchildren, Allyson Boyd, Jared Boyd and Sarah Boyd.

She has been laid to rest with her husband at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, California. A celebration of her life is scheduled for close friends and family on April 6th in Fullerton.

Something in the wind has learned my name
