A Father
A light is from our household gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
God gave us a beautiful father,
A father who never grew old,
You were always there
With a helping hand,
Help us now to accept His plan.
We miss you now, our hearts are sore,
As time goes by, we miss you more.
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can take our "Father's Place"
May the choirs of the angels receive you
and may you have rest
and peace everlasting.

He never looked for praises,
he was never one to boast.
He went on quietly working,
for the ones he loved the most.
His dreams were seldom spoken
his wants were very few
and most of his worries
went unspoken too
A true friend we could turn to
when times were good or bad
one of our greatest blessings
the man that we called dad

For someone with so much life and personality it's hard to put him to rest.  My dad was a kindhearted funny man. He showed me how to be the person I am today. He was always there for me and now I know he'll always be with me no matter the distance. My dad will continue to live on in the music he used to totally jam out to, to the delicious meals he put so much love into and to the small details of life for special touches. He was definitely one of a kind and had his own way of living life and I think that was the most courageous thing about him, he was himself through and through. Sometimes a man of little words he let the music tell his feelings and then sometimes he would invest all his energy into the conversation he had with you or go that extra mile to help others in need. He was a lively guy a stylish guy and a kind natured man. He was ALWAYS there when I needed him even if it was just to hear me complain about work,  he just wanted to be apart of it. My dad loved easy and he loved hard. This isn't easy and I doubt it will be as each year passes without him but I know each year we had together was well spent and meaningful, those memories will always live on. Everything he did for our family he did it with love and that's the best part of loving him, was love reciprocated ❤ 

I'll always know in my heart that he loved my mom my sister and myself with his whole being from the moon and back papa. I know we will meet again sir.

Thank you for being a man with a big heart, always looking to make someone's  day a little brighter. At the hospital,  the hospital security even knew and remembered your big heart and told your daughter, "Steve was alright, he had it right". 
I hope through knowing you that I can passed that good spirit along to others.
I"ll always hope that you knew how much we all loved you. Will always pray for your spirit to be with the lord. Amen 
Rest know, be at peace my big little brother.

To the man I spent a lifetime with.  We knew each other for 44 years and were married for 30 years.  You are my friend, my husband, my soulmate and the father of my children.
We have two beautiful daughters who I know you were very proud of and loved very much.
Your love showed in the way your took care of me when I was sick.
Your love showed in the way that you cared for your family.
Your love showed in your caring for others.
 You made me laugh and you made me cry, but everyday was filled with the knowledge that you loved me and I loved you.
I know your love will be with me every day until I am with you again in heaven.  
You will pull up on your motorcycle  and I will jump on and we will ride off into God's sunset in heaven.
Steve wait for me, I love you always!  Rest in Peace!

Dear Cousin, I only have a few memories of you. We haven’t seen one another since we were very young.  Our FB connection helped to reunite us in recent years and it was a joy to feel connected with what was happening in life with you and your loved ones. Your expressions of pride for your family and how much you cared for your family made me feel closer to you. I was hoping that circumstances were coming together for me here to be able to finally come and see you and see as much  family as I could possibly visit with during my stay.  Now your gone. If and when I make it there it won’t be the same without you being there. I am still going to do my best to visit because I also love family and you were mine and those you love I love too.  Rest in Pease dear cousin. My faith says we will see one another again someday. My deepest sympathy to all who love and miss you but especially to your dear wife Joann whom you spoke of as your greatest love and friend. 

Joann, Monique and Stephanie  my heart aches for you all.  I know Steve , your dad would not want to see tears coming down your beautiful faces…. he would be mad  !  I could just hear him say” don’t worry about me I’m celebrating my new life” He would not want his family to be hurting, because he had so much love for you  Joann , Monique n Stephanie .  The life long memories have to be always kept close to the heart. I love you Joann, Monique n Stephanie .. Rest in paradise Steve… my long time friend of 40 ty years….. ❤️🙏🏻❤️ Connie
