Samuel Allen Griffith Jr.

Sam Griffith was a professional photographer and artist. After graduating from 2 colleges, he worked as a package designer for a commercial art and design studio. Sam opened his photography studio, Sam Griffith Studio, and operated his photo studio for more than 30 years. His work was published in most of the major magazines. He photographed fashion models, food, and cars on his many assignments. He photographed for lingerie catalogs, exercise books, posters, calendars, and catalogs. He photographed many famous actors, actresses, and celebrities. He did beauty shots for Revlon, Alberto Culver, Helene Curtis, and fashion for Dior, Versace, and many designers. He did food photography for Swift and Sara Lee, and automobile photography for Collectible Automobile magazine and Consumer Guide. Sam was always learning and taught himself many things. He was a good bowler and drilled bowling balls for friends and family. Sam loved photography and it was more than a business. He took many beautiful photos and created beautiful artwork in addition to his business assignments. Sam was the best brother and friend anyone could have.
