Rose Sidoti Arnold, 91, a dedicated homemaker of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on “All Saints Day”, November 1, 2012. She was born June 3, 1921 in Albany, New York to her parents Salvatore Sidoti and Josephina Ferranda, who were Italian immigrants from Sicily. She was one of 14 children, supported by her father’s shoemaker repair shop. Rose married her husband Charles February 24, 1940 in Albany, New York, and relocated to Las Vegas in May of 1962. Rose’s life was devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and her family. She enjoyed cooking, and singing with her grandchildren, and keeping the family unity; she will be greatly missed. Rose is preceded in death by her; husband, Charles Raymond Arnold; daughter, Josephine Sylvia Clark; son, Frank David Arnold; and her parents, Salvatore Sidoti and Josephina Ferranda. She is survived by her sons Charles M. Arnold of Coronado, California and Edward S. Arnold of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Concetta Sidoti Sleasman and Angie Sidoti Dederick of Albany, New York; niece Concetta Dilella Cole of Las Vegas, Nevada; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews throughout the country. Memorial services will be on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11:30 AM, officiated by Father Dave Casaleggio, at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will be at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
