Roger Thomas Carroll (RT), 62, a long-time resident of the Las Vegas area, passed away on January 9, 2015 at Spring Valley Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on July 4, 1952 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Winston and Caroline Carroll. He found his soul mate and partner for life at the age of 52, when he married Lisa Gallardo of Las Vegas. Roger was in management at Fleetwood RV Manufacturing in Riverside, California, then moving to Las Vegas in 1999. While in Las Vegas he became a beloved dealer at Boulder Station. Roger was so beloved that many traveled from all over to sit at his table while dealing poker. He loved to tell jokes and have fun. His customers would call him personally and ask him his schedule just so they wouldn’t miss him. He loved playing his guitar and singing. On Friday nights he would go to Kick’s Bar for karaoke. He enjoyed cooking and hanging out with the family by the pool. He loved having his grandchildren over. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Winston and Caroline Carroll. He is survived by his wife Lisa; son Roger T. Carroll Jr.; daughter Nicole Carroll; step-daughters Stacy Lauretta, Danielle Wagner, Tina Huey, Tamara Peron, Special Gallardo, and Brittany Gallardo; fourteen grandchildren; brother Winston Carroll Jr.; and sister Rose Carroll-Haddix.
