Robert W. Thompson, 66, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011. He was born September 27, 1944, in Darby, Pennsylvania, and was a 50-year resident of Nevada. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a retired quality control inspector for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Robert is survived by his wife, Evangeline Thompson; son, Vincent (Cheryl) Thompson of Las Vegas; daughter, Andrea (Kirk) Hendrick; grandson, Chase Hendrick; granddaughter, Kyla Hendrick, all of Henderson; grandson, Nathaniel Thompson; mother, Margaret Zehring, both of Las Vegas; father, Robert W. Thompson of Media, Pennsylvania; sister, Noreene Kallail of Las Vegas; and brother, Wayne (Joyce) Thompson of Springfield, Colorado. There will be a Memorial Mass at 10:00am Tuesday, April 26, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association , 5190 S.
