Robert Peter Colaluca, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 27, 2024 at the age of 79. He was born on February 9, 1945 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Throughout his life, Robert exemplified unwavering dedication, kindness, and a deep commitment to his family and friends.
Robert's professional journey was marked by notable achievements and contributions. He graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in Business, which laid the foundation for a successful career in the casino industry. His colleagues remember him as a diligent worker, and always ready to share his expertise.
Beyond his career, Robert cherished his role as a loving husband to Janice Colaluca (Richards), a devoted father to Ralph M. Cenname (Annmarie), Richard A. Cenname (Paula), and Robert L. Colaluca (deceased) and a loving grandfather to Tyler Cenname (Madison), Jordyn Cenname, Nichole Benigas, Dylin Cenname, Nico Cenname, and Luca Cenname. He is survived by his sister Rosemary Bauder (Ken) and his nieces and nephews. He found immense joy in family gatherings, where his warmth and sense of humor created lasting memories for all who were fortunate to know him. Robert's love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life, from the simple pleasures of everyday moments to the milestones they celebrated together.
In addition to his family, Robert had a passion for gambling, mainly video poker, which he pursued with enthusiasm. Robert approached each endeavor with a sense of curiosity and dedication that inspired those around him.
He is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Santangelo, his father John Colaluca, his step-father Louis Santangelo, brother Louis Santangelo, son Robert L. Colaluca.
Robert Peter Colaluca will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives he touched.
A memorial service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on July 2, 2024 at Palm Mortuary 7600 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada. Visitation from 12:30p - 1:00p and Memorial from 1:00p - 2:00p.
