Robert Edward Alcorn, 77, was a resident of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday morning March 2, 2011, after a long illness. He was born Feb. 26, 1934, in Cincinnati, and resided in Nevada for 37 years. He was a retired electronic engineer at the Nellis ACMI and he proudly served his country as a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; children, Cheryl, Laurie, Debi and Danny; grandchildren, Shelly, Del, Becky, Nikki, Shane, Todd and, Sean; and great-grandchildren, Mariah, Cali and Shay. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 10. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday March 11, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
