Raul Govea Bravo

Raul Govea Bravo with great sadness in Our hearts we share the passing of our father Raul Govea Bravo, 82 (Father, grandfather, brother and uncle). Announce his passing on November 10, 2021, in his home in Las Vegas, NV with his loved ones by his side.

Raul was born on February 19, 1939, the son of Antonio and Socorro Bravo In Guanajuato, Mexico. He later moved to Salinas, CA in the late 70’s where he met and married his ex wife Joy A. Marsico and later moved to Elko, NV in the early 1990’s where he worked for the City of Elko in the Water department. After the passing of his only son Raul Samuel Bravo II in 2007, he moved to Las Vegas, NV to be closer to his daughters and grandchildren. His life was centered on his Catholic faith, family, friends and gardening. Often referred to by friends as a loving person that you could always depend on. Raul was an avid gardener and loved talking about his roses and vegetables. He is survived by his three daughters Shakira Bravo, Rachel Hodge and Isabelle Bravo of Las Vegas, NV, his grandson Alex Bravo-Jones, granddaughter Sierra Bravo, Las Vegas, NV, his sisters Lilia Bravo-Hernandez, Elisa Magdaleno, Connie Ronquillo-Bravo, and brothers Rudolpho Bravo, Daniel and Felipe Bravo, and many nephews and nieces. He was proceeded in death by Antonio and Soccoro Bravo his parents, Raul Samuel Bravo II, his son, Rosa Bertha Estrada, Enidena Guadalupe Garcia “Lupe.” Daniel Bravo, Artemio Bravo, Raquel Bravo and Carolina. Mass of Catholic burial will be on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Palm Mortuary Down Town 1325 North Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101 from 3-8pm followed by internment on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Palm Eastern Mortuary 7600 S Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123 1-2pm
