Patty Madrid

Patty Madrid of Las Vegas passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born on September 1, 1950, in Linton, Indiana to Vernon and Mildred Back. Her father was in the military, so she moved around a lot until she made Las Vegas her forever home in 1967.

Patty is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Madrid, her son and daughter in-law Michael and Jenefer, her daughter and son in-law Marissa and Jeremy, and four Grandchildren Jena, Michelle, Lauren and Jackson all of Las Vegas. Patty leaves behind many other family members and cherished friends.

Patty was a kind woman that enjoyed simple things. Her favorite thing to do was to curl up on the couch in her pajamas and binge watch science fiction movies and Animal Planet. Patty was a huge animal lover, especially small dogs. She always had one curled up next to her.

Patty was a special woman who loved fiercely and had an amazing sense of humor. Her laugh was infectious, and you couldn't help but laugh with her when she got going. She was stubborn but kind, generous and giving, all around a true light of joy.

The family would like to thank all of those for their kind words and support during our time of loss. Your support and friendship through these times have meant the world to us and brought us joy to share our memories of Patty together with all of you. We are forever grateful to have had Patty in our lives. We miss her and lover her eternally.

A celebration of life for Patty will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
