Patrick Sean Foley

Patrick Foley was born in Queens New York on March 20, 1947. His parents Francis Foley and Elizabeth Foley moved the family to several cities during Pat’s life because of Francis’s service to the military, finally settling with their two other children Brian and Sharon in Honolulu Hawaii. During his teenage years in Hawaii in the 1960s, Patrick developed a passion for surfing, and everything related to Hawaii. Patrick enlisted in the US Navy in 1966 and was stationed in Long Beach California where he would meet the love of his life on Thanksgiving Day 1967, Rebecca Foley. Pat and Becky were married less than a year later in Las Vegas on Sept 28, 1968. Becky and Pat were blessed with a daughter, Carrie Anne Foley, on March 16, 1972. Sadly, while living in the country of Panama, the family was involved in a car accident, and little Carrie Anne died on Jan 9, 1973. Becky and Pat were blessed with three more children, Timothy Foley born Apr 10, 1974, Sean Foley born Sept 26, 1976, Kelly Foley Feb 23, 1979. Pat got transfer to a ship out of San Diego in 1976. The family settled in Oceanside, California on a sleepy little street called Siesta Dr. Becky and Pat were doubly blessed with a granddaughter Harper Foley born Nov 14, 2005, and a grandson Kadu Foley born Jul 29, 2007. Patrick served in the US Navy for over 20 years reaching the rank of Senior Chief. Retired Senior Chief Patrick Foley passed away on August 13th, 2021, peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his eldest son and niece. Pat had a good life and as he liked to say, “Every day is a holiday, and every meal is a banquet.” He is survived by his son Timothy R Foley, Sean T Foley, daughter Kelly T Foley, and Brother Brian Foley. Patrick was proceeded in death by his beloved daughter Carrie Anne and the love of his life Becky.
