Patricia Ann Smith

Born June 7, 1954

Passed away July 24, 2022, at her home in Las Vegas, NV, after a very long illness.

Pat was diagnosed with Secondary progressive MS as well as breast cancer and incurable cancer of the bones.

Pat worked in Federal Civil Service. She worked at various military bases, Pearl Harbor, HI; Marine Corps Air Station, Beauford, SC; 4th Marine Division HQ, New Orleans, LA; Naval Base, Norfolk, VA. Personnel office, Camp Pendleton, CA; Naval Hospital, Personnel Office, Camp Pendleton, CA; Naval Personnel Office, San Diego, CA; Personnel Office, USAF, Randolph, AFB, San Antonio, TX; Personnel Office, USA, Fort Riley, KS.

Pat really enjoyed her job, dealing with various people of multiple nationalities.

Pat is survived by her husband (of 50 years) James Linden Smith; her son Jeremy (Valerie) Smith; her sisters, Brenda Rowell of Scottsdale, AL; Judy (Kent) Eldridge of Bradley, IL; Donna LaFine of Scottsdale, AL; her brothers, Kenneth Sommer of Phoenix, AZ; James Sommer of Kankakee, IL; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Pat is preceded her in death by her Mother, Lola Mae (Hutson) Sommer of Kankakee, IL and her brother Willlie (Janet) Hutson of Decatur, IL.

Pat Loved to collect items of Scooby-Doo characters, as well as researching her family heritage.
