Patricia Elaine Gianno

Patricia Elaine Gianno, passed away on December 17, 2015. Patricia was an outgoing loving woman who spread the joy she felt to those around her. She graduated in 1958 from North High School in Akron Ohio, married her loving husband Joseph Gianno on November 13, 1966 in Las Vegas then again at St. Finbar Church in Burbank, CA. They were blessed with one daughter, Robin, who was the light of her life. Patricia enjoyed her work as a secretary at Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp for 16 years, until her retirement in 2003. When the family relocated to Las Vegas she found new joy working part-time at the Mansion at the MGM turning into a 6 year position. Her greatest happiness was spending time with her family, her two amazing grandchildren Jacob and Olivia Martinez, going on adventures with her husband traveling to places like Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico and Panama; volunteering and advocating for Guide Dogs of America, and spending time with her friends. Her devoted faith played a big part in her life, especially after her Breast Cancer Diagnosis in 2007. She took pride in sharing her faith with others through her activities, church, reaching out to new people to welcome them or helping others facing difficult diagnoses or situations deal with the emotional ups and downs. Patricia touched the lives of so many people in every area of her life, making friends out of strangers, donating her time and resources to causes she was passionate about, and offering comfort to those in need. Patricia is survived by her devoted husband Joseph, loving daughter Robin, treasured grandchildren; Jacob and Olivia Martinez, extended family and friends.
