Patricia Ann Buian

Patricia Ann Buian, 85, a resident of Las Vegas passed away August 3, 2013 at Nathan Adelson Hospice. She was born to Ray and Emma Howey on May 21, 1928 in Arcola, Illinois. Patricia was the youngest of her eleven siblings. She Graduated from Northern Illinois University with Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

Patricia met the love of her life Nicholas Buian and they were married in 1952. Together they relocated from Illinois to Ohio. They had their first child Nik in 1953. In 1954 Patricia gave birth to their second son Richard.

She taught in the Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio school District as an Elementary School teacher until she retired in 1987. Patricia relocated to Tucson, Arizona. She was very active in her church and community. As a member of her church, she participated as a deacon, and wrote the newsletter.

Patricia had many interests and hobbies. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, read, travel and dance. She enjoyed traveling the local area for ballroom dance competitions.

In 2009, Patricia relocated to the Las Vegas area to be closer to her son Richard and receive additional medical care.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Nicholas. She is survived by her two sons, Nik (Julie) and Richard; her granddaughter Marriah; her niece Susan; and her nephew Skip.
