Norman Thomas Brown

Tommy was born on August 8, 1956, in Maryville, Tennessee, to Billy Lester and Ruth Marie (Harris) Brown. His family moved to Las Vegas when Tommy was five years old, and he graduated from Clark High School in 1974. In 1975, he met the love of his life, Linda Chronister, at First Baptist Church in Las Vegas, and the two were married at First Baptist on June 11, 1977.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Charles and Evelyn Chronister of Las Vegas, his sister, Cinda Sobczak of San Diego, and his brother-in-law, Ron Chronister of Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his daughters, Jessica (and Daniel) Georgianna of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Lyndsey (and Kenny) Whipple of Las Vegas; his brother Steve (and Belinda) Brown of Las Vegas; his brother-in-law, Rick Sobczak of San Diego; his sister-in-law, Glenda (and Zane) Terry of Las Vegas; his sister-in-law, Luana (and David) Larson of Las Vegas; his grandsons, Landon, and Cade Georgianna, and Hayden and Kaleb Whipple; his granddaughters, Alexis (and Aaron) Yost, and Ashlyn Whipple; 11 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Tommy will be held at New Day Christian Church, 2651 Crimson Canyon (Suite 200) in Las Vegas, on Saturday, October 19, at 11 am.
