Nancy Jane Heller passed away on January 17, 2022 at the age of 73 after battling Covid. She was born on June 12, 1948 to Charles Middleton & Ona Middleton (Dye) in Willow, California. She married Donald Heller in 1966 and they had five children. Don's work kept them constantly moving around the country and after many years & several states, Nancy and Don eventually settled down in Las Vegas and called it home.
Nancy leaves a huge hole in the hearts of her family & friends who were endlessly entertained by stories of her adventurous life. Her stories left you either laughing uncontrollably or mystified by the outrageousness of it. For those that knew and loved her, she was 'stubborn as a mule' which made her a force to be reckoned with. This trait served her well in the many years she worked in the restaurant industry which helped provide for her family. Nancy loved spending time with family, was an avid reader & had a passion for anything crafts. She leaves behind a mountain of unfinished cross stitch, crochet, knitting & painting projects.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband Don, her parents & six of her siblings (Ona, Hope, Charlotte, Violet, Alva, Donn, Betty, Audrey).
She is survived by her son Eric, his wife Francine & their two children Kayla and Gavin; her daughter Jody & her two children Fancy (husband Paul) and Nihklos; her daughter Michele & her three children Eddie, Zachary and Amanda; her daughter Kristy, her husband Gary and her son Jacob; her son Paul & his wife Rebecca; her three great-grandchildren Aidan, Perdita & Loxley (Fancy's children); her sister Cathie and many, cousins, nieces & nephews.
A celebration of life service is scheduled for 10am on February 6, 2022 at the Palm Eastern Mortuary in Las Vegas, NV.
