Morgan was born September 22, 1950 in Logan, Utah to William Thomas and Eunice Delene Parry. He graduated as class valedictorian from Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, Utah in 1968. After graduation, he attended the University of Utah for one year prior to accepting his call to serve an LDS Mission to the Germany South Mission from 1969-1971. After his faithful mission service, he returned to the University of Utah where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biology in 1974.
He was sealed to his eternal companion Janet Faye Anderson in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple on June 9, 1972. He completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma. Following medical school, he completed a one year family practice residency internship at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. Later, he served as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force stationed at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada. Following his service in the Air Force, he completed his residency in radiology from UC Irvine. He diligently worked for over 30 years in radiology, both in Las Vegas, Nevada and Boise, Idaho. During his time in Boise, he dedicated his career to providing care to veterans at the VA Hospital.
Morgan faithfully served many callings within the LDS Church. He found joy in serving others and had a love for sharing his testimony of Jesus Christ. He had a love for the gospel, his wife, his family, his country, and his Utah Utes. He never tired of coaching his children and grandchildren in sports, but especially in life.
Morgan will be greatly missed by his wife Janet; his siblings Suzanne Francis, Vernon Parry, Fred Parry; his six children and their spouses, Ryan (Rachael) Parry, Kimberly (Zachary) Ball, Shannon (Joshua) Ahuna, Trevor (Megan) Parry, Erin (Michael) Cahill, and Brendan (Katie) Parry; his 14 grandchildren and he will shortly send down from heaven two more sweet grandchildren.
