Moor Braun

Moor Braun, 82, a retired school teacher, passed away on October 23, 2017, in Las Vegas, NV. He was born in Detroit to Eugene and Annie Braun (nee Kievitsky) on August 25, 1935. He lived most of his life in the Detroit area but moved to the Las Vegas area after retiring in 1995. Moor was involved in numerous civic organizations, including the AARP driving and tax programs. He was married to Dolores (nee Granat) until her death in 1984 and Roberta (nee Marcus) until her death in 2009. He is survived by his four sons, Keith (Traci) of West Palm Beach, FL, Mitchell (Amy Pollack) of Las Vegas, Darryl (Cynthia Merrow) of Inkster, MI, and Kenneth (Diane) of South Lyon, MI; four step-children, Cynthia, Sherri, Amy and David; and many grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorial donations be made to benefit Wayne State University. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
