Mitchel Malamud, 72, a retired insurance agent, passed away on Thursday July 23, 2015. He was born on January 31, 1943 in New York City, NY to Louis and Sarah Malamud (Altman) and was a Las Vegas resident since 1998. Mitchel is survived by Laurie, his beloved wife of 16 years; two daughters, Sherri Lynn Malamud of Scottsdale, AZ and Deborah Elise (Brian) Bethea of Richmond, VA; one son, Barry Evan (Johna) Malamud of Camp Hill, PA; and three grandchildren, Jessy, Carly and Ian. Funeral services will be at 10 AM on July 26, 2015 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow at the King David Memorial Cemetery. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to Nathan Adelson Hospice. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
