Michelle Ranae Overton

In loving memory of Michelle Ranae Overton, a cherished Daughter, Sister, Mother, Aunt, Friend, and devoted Mimi to her beloved grandchildren. For almost five decades, she graced the Las Vegas Valley with her hairstyling talents, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her many clients. Born on February 22, 1958, Michelle peacefully joined her late husband, Eddie Overton, in eternal reunion on December 21, 2023.

Born in Salina, Kansas, Michelle moved to Las Vegas at three months old. She graduated from Clark High School in 1975 and became a hairstylist in 1977. At 21, she owned her first salon. Shortly after, she met Eddie, the love of her life, and the three years following became a bustling journey with three kids in tow.

By age 30, Michelle had one of the largest salons in Green Valley, training hairstylists and fostering many to open their own salons. An amazing woman of her craft, she was a generous, forgiving, kind, empathetic, and great mentor. Her focus was always on her children, and Michelle, a wonderful mother, took immense pride in each of her three children.

Survived by her loving mother, Donna Wills, and brother Michael Wills, Michelle leaves a lasting legacy through her children: daughters Raena Bombara and Paige Overton, and son Eddie Overton. Her memory lives on through son-in-law Joey Bombara, daughter-in-law Hanna Overton, and five grandchildren: Blake and Hudson Bombara, and Kaelyn, Maya, and Evan Overton.

A beacon of kindness, Michelle touched countless lives through the salon chair and friendship. Her absence is deeply felt, and her memory forever resides in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A memorial service for Michelle will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123.
