Maureen O’Donnell (née Clifford) was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 26, 1934. She married the love of her life, John O’Donnell, and they moved to Las Vegas in 1963. Tragedy struck in 1973 when her husband was taken away too soon by a drunken driver. When her youngest was old enough to go to school full time, she started teaching at the JM Ullom Elementary School, the same school her children went to. She became many a student's favorite teacher. Upon retirement, she volunteered at Holy Family Catholic Church and soon found herself running the library and religious education programs. On September 19, 2020, after 47 years apart, she is finally reunited with her beloved husband. She is survived by her 3 children, John, Bill and Pat, and her 3 grandchildren.
