I so enjoyed working with Mary at the Water District.  She was always kind and thoughtful.  And, oh, what a "fashion plate" she was - from top to bottom!!  A Beautiful Woman.  I am sure she is smiling down on her lovely family.

Our journey together began in first grade at West Side School, Hopkinsville, Ky. We lived 3 streets from each other, and the kids of West Side all knew each other, played together and loved life together.  Few of us had parents who were blessed with financial riches, but we didn't know it, nor did it matter to us.  We had fun together, worshiped together and went through 12 years of school together.  Mary was always one of the special ones from the beginning. Reading how she was loved in Las Vegas blesses my heart even more.  I wish we had been closer in our adult lives.  Wayne Light

Mary. . .a woman of impeccable taste and class!  I had the privilege of knowing Mary on a personal level when I was transferred to the floor where she worked.  We immediately gravitated toward one another and became friends.  I thought she was the classiest woman I had ever met and always told her that I aspired to be just like her.  She was my go-to fashion consultant. . . Mary carried herself with dignity!  I believe that the Lord places people in our lives for a reason and a season, and when that season is over and the reason has been satisfied, they move on. Although our season was not as long as I would have liked, I know that the reason the Lord placed Mary in my life was to learn grace.  Thank you Mary. . .you will certainly be missed!

It was sad to hear of Mary's passing. She will always be remembered as the truly remarkable woman that she was.  It was far too early for her to leave but I'm certain she will be fondly welcomed in heaven, her new home. Good bye until that time when your family and your friends can join you for a new fellowship.

So sorry to hear of Mary' passing, but I believe I'll  be with her in heaven eternally.  My prayers are with her family.  Love you all

Mary, what an inspirational and breathtaking impeccable woman.  She exuded class!  I had the privilege of getting to know Mary on a more personal level about three years prior to her retirement at the Water District.  She was wise and kind, and lovely in every way.  I admired Mary and aspire to be like her.  I believe the Lord brings people into our lives for a reason and a season, and Mary was purposefully placed in mine. Mary was a lovely, fun person.  She loved her shoes and decorating her house, but she loved her family most of all.  A true Southern lady.  My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones.

I am so sad to hear of Mary's passing.  Mary was a great friend to me and always there with a helping hand.  She was a beautiful person both inside and out.  I looked forward to her greeting me every day at work every morning with her beautiful eyes and wonderful smile.  She has been missed tremendously over the last few years and I will miss her friendship.  God bless all of you.

I was saddened to learn of Mary's passing. She was such a beautiful person, very kind, and always had a smile. She was also such a fashionista; always dressed to the 9's! Her family is in my thoughts and prayers. Know that she lights up Heaven and is looking down on all of you with her beautiful smile.

I am saddened to learn of Mary's passing. She was such a beautiful, welcoming presence in the GM's office and had such a kind heart. I valued her contributions to our office and especially cherished her continued friendship when I had to leave that office. Holding her family close in my thoughts and prayers.

Mary was my big sister.  She was always so kind to Linda and me when we were kids.  Mary took us to the pool where we spent all day having great fun.  So many wonderful family memories.  Mary is now reuniting will Mother, Dad, and Linda.  I hope to join them so day. May God bless Mary and her family.

I'm a double-first cousin of Mary's.  Grew up next door,  same church, same friends.  I've always admired her unique beauty.  She knew how to make the best of situations.  She has blessed me much.  I have grieved and prayed for her these last few months.  But now I let her go and look forward to seeing her in heaven one day.  Am praying for her family.

Mary was always smiling; always kind; always had something nice to say, and though she was lovely to look at, her radiance came from within.

I'm so sorry to hear about Mary's death. We were friends as kids in Sunday school at Second Baptist church. I remember her inviting me to her home after church one Sunday. We continued our friendship through high school. Mary was so kind and friendly to everyone. She will be truly missed.

You always brightened the room when you entered and it remained that way after you left. The same can be said of your life here, in this world. I'm sure that Heaven is shining ever brighter today, with your arrival!

I am a member of Mary's high school class of 1960 in Hopkinsville, KY.  I was so sorry to hear of her death.  I know it makes our entire class sad.  She was a beautiful person as I remember her.  Our class will give a memorial to her, probably to the Hopkinsville High School library.
