Martha Elizabeth Griffith, 88, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, passed away June 10, 2011. She was born July 30, 1922, in Paola, Kan., and has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayden Stuart, Sr.; and son, Hayden Stuart Jr. Martha is survived by her daughter, Susan (Allen) Turner; granddaughters, Kimberly (Edward) Orci and Kathleen (Greg) Maddux; grandsons, Eric (Julie) Ronnow and Justin (Arlene) Griffith; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Chastain. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Donations may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice or Safe Nest.
