aunt, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.
Cindy was known for her warm heart, unwavering strength, and deep devotion to family.
A loving homemaker, she dedicated her life to nurturing her loved ones, creating a home
filled with laughter and care. Her faith, resilience, and generous spirit touched everyone
who knew her. Cindy was no pushover, she offered grace and help to those she loved, yet
she was tough, and a teacher at heart.
Family and friends remember Cindy for her resilient nature and joy in gathering loved
ones. Whether it was hosting family parties, sharing stories, or offering sage advice, she
found happiness in bringing people together. Her wise words, comforting presence, and
quiet humor made her a pillar of strength in her community.
Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Owens; son, Maurice Owens; and
siblings, including her dear brother Milton and sister Margaret. She is survived by her
grandson, Caleb Owens; adopted grandchildren, Maia and Christian Lewis; daughter-inlaw,
Kenyatta Fletcher Owens; and a host of nieces and nephews—especially Linda

her soul rest in eternal peace, and may cherished memories bring comfort to all who
mourn her.
