Louis Lombardo, Dedicated father, son, brother and uncle, Louis S. Lombardo, 45, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 2, 2010. He was born Jan. 19, 1965, at Valley Community Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif., and was a 16-year resident of Nevada. Lou served eight years in the Air National Guard and was elevated to the rank of staff sergeant. He was an Air Force Command honor graduate and received the Medal of Gratitude from the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia for his service during Operation Desert Storm. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing, camping and motorcycling. Lou was director of facilities and owner's representative, project manager for the construction of St. Rose Dominican Hospital and the San Martin Campus. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis A Lombardo; grandmother, Millie Locascio; uncles, Nick and Chris Locascio, Peter, Sylvester, and Carmen and Salvatore Lombardo. Lou is survived by his nine year old son, Dominic Lombardo; mother, Mildred (Locascio) Lombardo; sister, Nita Louise Lombardo; and Godson/nephew, Patrick "PJ" Lombardo. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S.
