Linda Sue Stafford

Linda was born January 2, 1947 to parents Henry Myers and Martha Hull in Jeannette, PA. She was the youngest of their five children; Virginia Mayberry, Janet Wurzel, Irva Mains, and George Myers. Linda was predeceased by George and Irva.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerry Stafford; sons, Jeffrey Stafford (Kim) of Las Vegas, NV and Eric Stafford (Shannon) of El Dorado Hills, CA; grandsons Dillon and Jon; and sisters, Virginia and Janet.

Linda and Jerry were married September 11, 1965 at Immaculate Conception Parish in Irwin, PA. They were blessed with three sons; Jerry Thomas, Jeffrey Douglas and Eric Jon. Sadly, Linda was predeceased by Jerry Thomas on November 15, 1982 when he was only 16 years old.

She was an avid golfer who loved the outdoors, traveling, and living the Las Vegas life. She and Jerry were devout Catholics and very active in their church. She was a wonderful stay at home Mom and focused on raising her sons and taking care of her family. When the children were older, she worked at the family business until 2013 when she was diagnosed with this tragic disease.

Services will be held at 1:00pm on April 11, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Parkway, Henderson, NV. Graveside services will be at 2:00pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV. Following will be a reception for family and friends from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the Mortuary.

The Stafford family requests that in lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in Linda’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association or to your favorite charity.
