Dearest Don and Jennifer,
There are no words I can say to express how deeply sorry I am for you loss.  My prayers and thoughts are with you both.

I have so many memories of Linda.  Here are a few...I loved when she babysat me when she lived in San Fernando Valley on Burbank Blvd and White Oak Blvd.  I remember how much she loved her cats.  I remember when she met you, Don and when I would spend the night at her house she would talk on the phone with you for hours and you would sometimes fall asleep on the phone because of the time difference.  

But most of all, I remember how much she LOVED the Dodgers.  She gave me something that she will never know...the love of baseball and the Dodgers.  I am not sure if I would of met my husband if I had not loved baseball so much.  I got lucky that when she did not have anyone to go to the games with she would take me.  She had her book and did all the status.  Till this day when I see someone at a game doing their book it reminds me of my childhood and going to the games with Linda.  But I will never understand why people do that. 

Linda had an amazing laugh and she brighten the room when she entered.  

She was my 2nd cousin but she was more than that she was like an Aunt to me and she was an amazing friend.  I will miss her so.

I am so sorry for your loss and the deep sadness you both must be feeling at this time.  As you know better than anyone, Linda was an amazing woman.  I have many fond memories of her from my childhood and I look back on those and it brings a smile to my face.  Hold on to all your precious memories, never let them fade and she will live forever with you.

Don and Jen, 
You all have been part of our family for years and I look forward to many more. Linda was a mentor to me through some of my tougher teenage years and I always remember her fondly for a couple of reasons.  When she used to babysit us we'd have eggo waffles for breakfast and that was such a special treat! To this day when I buy those frozen waffles I think of her and the different "styles" of making them. She was a friend when I needed it and a step-in Mom when I needed that too.  I will always remember her fondly and you are both in my thoughts during this tough time. Love you both.

Dear Don and Jennifer-it is really hard to write or say that because it has always been Don,Linda and Jen.  I have agonized over what to write in this book--How do you put into words a friendship of so many years? Linda has a special place in my heart as do the two of you.  She helped shape my children form an early age up until the present.  We shared agonizing decisions and lots of fun:tears and laughter: joy and sorrow and I am a better person for having loved her.  I will miss her for the rest of my life and consider myself lucky to be a member of your family as you both will always be members of mine, Love Always, Leslie

I am shocked that Linda is gone. I grew up down the street on Marie Ct in Santa Maria. I played with Jennifer everyday! Linda would make us snacks and always had fun showing us her veggie garden in the backyard. We would build "houses" in the front yard from boxes and forts in the front room.

Don and Jennifer,  I am extremely sorry for your loss. I always admired Linda and looked forward to our visits. She was such a warm and giving person who always made me feel welcomed. We were lucky to have had her in our lives. She will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.  We will always remember Linda for her infectious smile!  She was always a joy to be around and listen to lots of stories of the good old days with Dennis and Joy.  We are glad to have shared in those memories.

Although Linda and I were not close in our relationship as cousins because of age and geography, I always held her dear in my heart and will miss her sense of humor and smiles.  God be with you all in this most trying of times.  May He cover you with His courage, grace, and peace in the knowledge that your wife, mother, and sister is no longer in pain. My heart goes out to all of you along with my prayers.
