I had a lot of memories with Lesly, but the one that would never leave my mind was when I would wake up every morning and hear the stove turn on, she would wear a silky gray robe. I would see her with a smile on her face, and I always told her "Good morning lely", I always gave her the biggest hugs and she would too. Now i wake up to an empty kitchen, with sadness poured all over it. I also remember when I would go to a near by gas station at 1-2am to get snacks with her, we would listen to some music in the car and laugh. She would also take me to the parks! Lesly knew how to have fun. I miss her smile, her laugh, her hugs.. Lesly gave the best advice, I'm so thankful she's my sister. I love and miss her so much. 

we have a lot of memories, so this instead is a message for you my best friend you’ve took a piece of my heart with you. I think about you everyday n night, I loved you since the very first day we met and I’ll always love you. I miss your loud laugh n your huge smile, my twin! visit me in my dreams like u always do. forever in my heart, god I miss you. 

Lesly was the best sister I have ever had, she was so kind and courteous and always made people smile. She always lit up the room whenever she came in. She would always give me advice to become a professional when I grow up and I always took her advice to make her proud. Lesly was always a person that you could never stop talking to because you would never want to leave her side. The only memory that I could think of was little talk that we both had on August 28, in the afternoon. She was telling me that she wanted to do something else in her life, “ I want to do phlebotomy but I want to do something else” - I was telling her that even though she would do something else in the future that I will still be proud of her no matter what. She said “ Phlebotomy is cool but I would I really wanna to be a Crime Scene Investigator”- and she was showing me videos and she was asking me what I wanted to be in the future and it was the best conversation I had that day! There’s more memories that I had with Lesly but this memory impacted me in so many ways that it will forever stay with me. Lesly was just not my sister, she was my motivation, my friend, my everything. It’s very hard to live without her but I hope she’s watching me every single day and, I will achieve my goals for her to make her proud!

I had the honor of being her Lab Assistant instructor here at Las Vegas College for 6 months. She was a shy Lab Assistant student that had just transferred from our Medical Assistant program. She loved drawing blood especially doing capillary draws. The more she came to lab, the better her skills stood out. She eventually came out of her shell and was unstoppable!! She had just completed the Lab Assistant program on August 27, 2020. We definitely miss her contagious smile!! Lesly, you are definitely missed by everyone! Please watch over us! xoxo Ms, Je
