Larry J. Rheinecker, 67, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013. He was born Dec. 21, 1945, in W. Frankfort, Ill. and was a 17-year resident of Nevada. Larry served in the U.S. National Guard and retired from General Motors in Wentzville, Mo. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union and the Allied Auto Racing Association. He loved life and his goal was to never say, "I wish I had." Larry was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Paul Rheinecker; and mother, Irene Carson. Larry is survived by his wife, Katherine Petterson Rheinecker; daughters, Pamela (Anthony) Hildebrand and Brenda (Don) Moore; grandsons, Zachary and Eyan Moore; brother, Dennis (Dawn) Rheinecker; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; brother-in-law; and many friends. Charleston Blvd. Las Vegas, NV, www.changingdirectionscdc.org. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory and Mausoleums in Belleville, Ill.
