Judith was the only beloved daughter of Jeannette (nee Feldstein) and Edward Klein. She is survived by her son, Ari Klein-Levine; daughter, Rachel Cohen; ten grandchildren, Yitzhak, Baruch, Benjamin, Dov, and Ayla Cohen, and Elijah, Katelyn, Tristan, Ronan, and Leon Levine; and a community of long-standing friends and extended family.
Judith was known to be a "tough cookie." Sometimes challenging, she was a champion of dignity to those facing health challenges. She went to Mt. Sinai Nursing School in Chicago, IL. Her career included working as a public health nurse in Chicago, volunteering in the aids/HIV community during the early days of that health crisis in Cleveland, and stewarding the elderly through difficult and sometimes unclear end of life choices while in Las Vegas. Being unyielding about the "right thing to do" she always remembered others and made them aware that someone cared for them and their loved ones. That love was also felt by her ten grandchildren for whom she expressed great pride.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kosher Food Pantry of Cleveland would honor her long support of its aim to feed people in need with dignity.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Palm Valley View Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
